Its not a bad looking car, although you could have got something considerably faster for your money.

Ive seen 1.4 16v Corsa's beat these things, even a 1.2 16v gives them a damn good run for their money.

I assume its just a 2.0?

Oh and if you'd like to see it handle well you want to get it on some coilovers wink.gif

garver
Who cares how fast it is. I didnt buy my 98 trans am ws6 for the 5.0 0-60 and 13.4 1/4 mile times. I bought it because it looks good and is a chic magnet.

well thats what i got it for lol i just love the look of the thing its so pretty + i had my old style Focus RS before and that thing was my speedy car (and by speedy i mean ballistic), but in all honesty id rather pull up in this car then that focus its a style not speed thing for me

Just for a laugh my dads Vauxhall astra ESTATE pulled away from this thing lol but meh it was a giggle

Focus RSs are freekin awesome... I wish they made them here in the States (American car.. I know, it's rather stupid that they make European exclusive trims and models).

MR2s are cool too, at least they've got good weight distribution. tongue.gif

It's not that stupid, i mean you guys never got escort or fiesta RS Turbo's or Cosworths did you?

I know you had sierras but did you ever have rs500's?

I dont they had the XR3i's or XR2i's either, man they are missing out on all the scary fun cars lol
twistedsymphony
no sierras
no RS500s
no Cosworth anything
no XR2i or XR3i

Hell we didn't even get the Puma

no Skylines
no Citron anything
no Opel anything
no Peugeot anything since 1991

We got the 240sx (your 200sx/Silvia) but with a 2.4L truck motor instead of the 2.0L Turbo dry.gif and we never got the S15 chassis of it either.

there are probably hundreds of other cars we never got that I don't even know about...

If it's not an SUV, pickup or front wheel drive luxury sedan the automakers don't want to release it to the US market sad.gif ... it blows
jwin767
TBH these car makers are missing out the more i look at it, the only way i streched the legs on the RS was to take it to the track or down a Motorway at midnight lol, i would have loved to streched the legs of it on a longer "never-ending" road america style lol. the most i got it to was 140-ish at brands hatch racetrack and that was risking it lol

and the only skyline i ever see is my work mates "Le Mans" r33 Skyline that he paid over the odds for but well...... its worth it lol

The wheels on your MR2 look exactly like the ones I used to have on my WRX... Rota Torques?

that would be a bad decision, your car is completely the wrong style for white wheels. stick with the charcoal grey , or some shadow chrome if your feeling blingey.
jwin767
DW im sticking with them lol, i saw a mr2 yesterday with white rims i was almost sick and was tempted to slap the driver just for driving it lol tongue.gif hmm.... now to slap the mate for such a bad taste in wheel rims lol
twistedsymphony
white wheels on red cars looks so friggin trashy it's not even funny
however...
