This guy is great. I basically knew nothing about modding when I sent him my Xbox and anytime I had a question he would always respond to me ASAP on AIM. I asked him a lot of questions and he was very patient and professional with his answers.

I have to admit I haven't bought very many things through the mail so I was a little bit nervous about buying a modded X Box. I searched the Internet sites and I noticed that this seller consistently gets excellent reviews. Well I held my breath and took the plunge and just bought a modded X Box with a 120 gb hard drive from Brian. (if I had my tax refund back I would probably have opted for an even bigger hard drive).

I can see why this seller gets such great reviews. He e-mailed me and kept me in the loop at all times. No surprises at all. Excellent service - what a very fast turn around (I live in Florida). Today my X Box arrived. It was packed well and securely and was sent by Federal Express to my door. It runs perfectly. No noise. No problems. Very professional job. Brian obviously knows what he is doing and it looks and runs just like brand new!!!!!

Brian even included a back up disk!!!! My only "problem: was that I tried to read it on my X Box and it wouldn't read. Well I soon figured out it is a computer disk to back up the E-Prom, popped it in the computer and it worked great!!!! Brian I would add a note about this to your customers because some (like me) need help figuring this out.

I would definitely do business with Brian again!!! Great prices, excellent service, packed well and shipped to my door. Most importantly he went the extra mile to always keep me in the loop between the time I sent my payment and when my X Box arrived today. Everything was in new condition. Packed securely and arrived spotless in great working order.

Incidently, he takes Pay Pal and you can pay by credit card which was a big plus for me because I don't like sending checks or cash through the mail.

You have to click on the "more information" button link to figure out that he offers you larger hard drive upgrades of all sizes (10 GB/80 GB/120GB/160GB/200GB/250 GB). I ordered a modded XBox with 120 Gig drive. I was a little worried about ordering one as it would be my second try. I had previously ordered one from a fairly well known internet dealer from Canada. What a disaster that was. I ordered the Box on 12/22 and ended up cancelling my order 1/22.
That same night I found Brian's site on the internet. He not only had much better prices (by $100) but he had an AIM name (ShopBMMods) that you could contact him thru. After the frustration of ordering from the other company with no feedback I thought this is too good to be true. But I still wanted an XBox.
So I sent a message to him and he actually chatted with me and I ended ordering his XBox.
His service and delivery have exceeded all expectations. He kept me informed and in a few days I received my XBox. I had NO problems and am really enjoying the benefits of the modded Xbos. I mostly wanted it to use a multimedia device in my entertainment system. It works great. I am positive that if I had problems that Brian would be there to bail me out.
I have recommended him to my friends and if I should need another XBox - I wouldn't consider any other source. Brian gets 5/5 stars from me.
I only wish I had found Brian first.

I like most people were unsure about buying a premod. Brian was extremely understanding and even answered all my stupid e-mails. He also made sure I got a samsung drive and didn't charge extra for it. (there are many out there that do). IMHO shop.bmforums.com is the best place to go for all your modding needs. I would definetly do business with him again.

First, let me give thanks to Brian for his helpful support. He has been great resource for someone new to the scene.

Now the specifics.

I contacted Brian about 2-3 weeks in advance of sending my xbox for modding. He was responsive and friendly which made me comfortable enough to send a $300 piece of hardware (bought 11/01) through the mail. I told him that I was going to provide the hard drive and he had no issues. I finally got everything together and sent it off on a Tues (got to him on Thurs) and the turnaround time was as promised which is very important to me.

We had some issues with FedEx, but thankfully they got the to me the following Thurs. Even though we hit a bump with shipping, Brian was there to cover answering a few frantic PMs. Ten days total (with shipping) - more than acceptable. The work was professional and my xbox came back in exactly the same condition as it left - plus a few choice additions. Since I'm rather new to the whole modding scene, Brian has been very patient and consistent in answering my noob questions until I finally got on the right track.

I'm extremely satisfied with the whole experience and recommend Brian's services to anyone.

I stumbled onto the xbox modding scene and decided to get a premod since I have never soldered anything in my life. I searched many sites and was taken back at how much a premod with a 120 gig hd would cost. As soon as I was about to order, I came to xbox-scene and happen to find shop.bmforums.com (best prices on the net).

I was always skeptical about sending that much money to anyone but he and I talked on instant messanger for about a week before I decided to take the chance. He seemed to be an honest, stand-up guy so I sucked it up and sent away the money.

A few days later, I woke up and had an xbox beside my bed. It came a lot faster than I had expected; great delivery. Everything was as he said it would be, everything worked and I haven't had a single problem yet. If I do have a question, he isn't hesistant to give me all the help he can.

After showing my cousin my xbox, he is now ready to send his away to him for modding.

Great service, very helping and very professional. I recommend him to any and everyone who needs xbox services.

There's not much I can add that hasn't already been said about how great Brian's services are, so I'll just confirm what others have posted in this thread and elsewhere.

Brian is an excellent person with whom to do business. Not only does he have the knowledge and experience to consistently and reliably perform these installations/repairs, but he cares about doing exactly what the buyer wants and in the shortest amount of time as possible (I received 3 personal phone calls to update me on the condition of my system and determine what exactly should be done to it). His prices are very fair and quality of service excellent.

The bottom line is that this guy is great, and if there were more people in the world who did business like him life would be a whole lot simpler. I was initially nervous about doing this type of thing through the internet and mail, but everything went very smoothly and Brian was very reassuring.

Just got my pre mod system and I don't have one bad thing to say about it. He did really good job with packing my system for shipping. When I got it I couldn't even tell that it had been opended. This guy is great, has great prices, fast shipping, with tracking number. If you're like me and didn't wanna take a chance at messing up a system trying to mod it yourself, then this is the place for you.

Brian is simply AWESOME. I sent him my xbox for repair and it was simply the best service I could have asked for. the turn-around time is outstanding I'm not sure he (brian) had the xbox for more than a day or two, it was back to me in less than a week with an x2.3pro and a user provided HDD.

not only was the mod installed perfectly, but he was also frequently available for noob questions via IM. he was so supportive that i'd swear he had a major support staff manning the keyboards 24/7.

therefore, in conclusion, i would recommend shopbmforums and i will purchase there again when i get my girlfriends son's Xbox modded as a graduation present.

I had a Xecuter 2.3b Pro that was giving me some problems, sent it to Shopbmmods, Brian had the problem diagnosed within one day of recieving it and notified me of the problem. Great job and great customer service.

FIRST OF ALL, A GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT WORKMANSHIP!

In the beginning, I searched all over the web for a good, reliable site with good feedback to order a pre-modded XBOX. I came upon many that were either selling fake clones of mod chips or were expensive. Then I came across BMMods. At a cheap $265.00, I got myself a pre-modded XBOX with the X2.3b PRO mod chip installed. Another thing that caught my attention was the abillity to pay via PAYPAL.

I received my order just a few days after I purchased it online. Everything came exactly as described: all the retail accessories, X2.3b PRO installed and a 1MB Flash Memory Card. This was my first time experience with a pre-modded XBOX so I was worried about messing it up! Luckily, BMMods has a great tutorial on how to flash your XBOX as well as great customer support. I chatted live with Brian on many occassions for technical support. He helped in everyway possible, which made my experience extremely easy. Flashing was a piece of cake! Brian also helped me configure my IP settings on my XBOX so that I could transfer files via FTP.

Workmanship was superb! The on/off switch is easily accessible just in case you want to play with XBOX Live enabled.

Overall, I am extremely impressed with BMMods and Brian. Good products, great support, what else can you asked for?

I would like to appologize to those that have received emails from me which have bounced back and for the site being down. Over the last 3 days, I have been having many issues with our ISP. Out of nowhere, they decided to give us a dynamic IP instead of mainting the STATIC IP we pay for. Through all of this, I have had DNS resolving issues along with many others. got my box yesterday, shipping was fast, packaging awesome, and the best part, for a total newbie like me, I just had to go to his tutorial for flashing a bios, read thru it and then went ahead and in 30 minutes flat, had the box running with all the goodies. ok im live in australian and i got onto this through a friend of mine who knows lookformeb, this friend of mine (Only4u2c, also a member here) set up everything and i bought a modded box with 120GB hard drive and only4u2c picked up the xbox from lookformeb and shipped it to me in australia, although it did take awhile to get thats no fault of theirs just cos im pretty far away hehe. Anyway im very pleased with what i got, did have a few problems getting it set up though cos we have different voltages and plugs here so i ended up buying a second xbox and swapping over the internal power supplies between the two and everything now works perfect, after failed atempts at getting a voltage converter hehe ended up blowing it up when i plugged it on cos i didnt read the instructions..... im planning on selling the second one over ebay or something probably lose a bit of money on it hopefully someone will want to buy a PAL xbox with US power supply hehe. in the end i spent a little more money than i would of liked too (postage was a bitch!!), but i still works out cheaper i think for the same thing here in australia, but oh well i'll get over it,

Super fast service! I ordered a premod xbox with xecuter 2.3b lite on sunday may 16th. They shipped the xbox via fedex the next day on monday may 17th, and they sent me a tracking number at that time. I received the xbox two days later on wednesday may 19th. The XBOX works great, and it even came with a Samsung drive. I highly recommend them, as they have some of the cheapest prices around that i've seen, and they seem to have quicker processing time than some other stores i've found from these forums.
