19" Optiquest Q9. When I put my PC together I knew nothing of HD; if I knew then what I know now, I'd be playing on at least 24" of Widescreen LCD.

42" Samsung Plasma via HDMI with my elite for online and 19" Fujitsu LCD for offline obviously via VGA.
Must say, the 19" LCD is FAR superior to the plasma. I've also had burn issues and am constantly have to run the screen burn option that wipes left to right.
Although I've heard using a non tuned channel (ie static) is just as good??

I chose LCD/LCoS.
I think my TV would be considered an LCoS. Idk.. I've always referred to it as an "LCD Projection."
It's 50in, does 1080i/720p, has multiple video ports, and is like 7 years old.
My TV before this one was a 37" LCD that did 1080i/720p.. and that was pretty good. But then it kinda broke.. lol. (damn you gravity!)
I would LOVE to get a straight up 1080p projector. Gahh, it would be so amazing!

Standard def 32" CRT Sony which I picked up off eBay for 10p

. Will do me fine until I eventually find a deal on a good quality HD screen (I'm in no hurry). For my PC I use a 17" CRT. PC screen is next on my list of upgrades, I want something widescreen and HD.

Use a 15inch LCD monitor with the VGA cable at 720p resolution, very nice and awesome does just fine for me, as since I cant see very well and to cheap to get glasses or contacts my face is usually a few feet away from the screen.

46" Samsung 1080p 8ms LCD TV "LNT-4661F" using HDMI for 360, PS3 and upconverted Wii. Beautiful image when calibrated using Digital Video Essentials disc, Vibrant colors and the best blacks i've seen on an LCD besides the one up model 4665F, it has better blacks but a glossy reflective screen like CRTs which I hate.

WTF...
this poll is severely flawed
CRT - Can be a regular display type or rear projection or front projection
LCD/LCoS - LCD can be a regular display type or rear projection or front projection... LCoS is rear/front projection only
DLP - DLP is rear or front projection only
Plasma - pretty much the only answer that is clear cut.
Projection - projection what? rear? front? this is already covered by half the other answers
Don't know/Don't care
The problem is the answers are melding two questions into one and doing a poor job of it.
The answers are for the questions "What technology does your tv use" and "what format is your display technology"
What technology does your TV use could be:
-CRT
-LCD
-DLP
-PLasma
What format would be
-Direct Display
-Rear Projection
-Front Projection
You could maybe meld them like this:
-CRT (direct display)
-CRT (Rear Projection)
-CRT (front projection)
-LCD (direct Display)
-LCD/LCoS (rear projection)
-LCD/LCoS (front projection)
-DLP (Rear Projection)
-DLP (Front projection)
-Plasma
I'm usually bothered by polls that are worded incorrectly because the answers become inaccurate and then whole poll becomes useless as a result.

Let me reword this poll so you have an idea of what I'm talking about
What is your Favorite Video game?Mario
Sonic
Crash Bandicoot
Halo 3
Playstation 2
Don't know/Don't care
^that is pretty much exactly how this question is worded when put in the context of display technology

I use a 19" LG LCD Monitor. It has a native resolution of 1440x900, a 3000:1 Dynamic CR, 2ms response time, and uses DVI-D/VGA for input. i keep my 360 Premium hooked in on VGA, and my eMachine hooked into the DVI. my only complaint about using the monitor is that it has a 16:10 contrast ratio. The 360 uses 16:9 contrast resolutions. when i display the 360's signal on it, the image is squished in from the sides, making things look taller and thinner. Luckily it's only noticeable with round things like the xbox or button symbols.
I'm wanting to sign up as a member at the official xbox forum to start a poll, seeing if it's possible to get 16:10 support added in, and how many people would want it. to kill the distortion caused by automatic display scaling, M$ could put black bars on the top and bottom of the picture, or somehow hack in support for true fullscreen picture in games on 16:10 monitors.
But aside from that little tick, the display looks beautiful. RE4 on my PC looks amazing with it's +768p signal, FPSes on my 360 are awesome with a wider screen. for 209 bucks, this was a steal.

i dont know what catergory that fits in as i considered the "projection" choice to mean an actual projector onto a screen. so it might be Lcos or projection not sure.
