I Just deleted my Softmod. Now I get an error (14, Service Required, contact custumer support)
I have opend the xbox before, so I now how to do that.
- The HDD is still locked (original Xbox HDD)
- I have a back-up made, the first time I installed a softmod.

How can I do a HDD rebuild? So I get back to only the M$ Dash and the save games I want to use preinstalled?

Error 14 is a dashboard error.
Can you still play a store bought game?
If so try updating you xbox through a Live enable game (Halo 2 for example).
