I had iXtreme 1.2 and did the Sept 20th system update.

I can launch games but not play them.

Games go as far as the game menus but console crashes when the game play is loading.

The video gets distorted and stays like that.

Each game gives a different distortion but they all crash.

I'm only playing original games and xbox live game demos. They all crash.




This started today right after I did the new system update.

Another thing to note is that I was trying to revert back to my original dvd firmware before updating the system but I carelessly did the iXtreme 1.2 firmware instead. Also I had a game inside the DVD drive (not backup, gears of war)

Anyone been through this?

probs just coincidence matey, ive seen that on a few 360s, itl eventually lead to the 3 red lights.

ive got ixtreme 1.2 on my sammy 360 and everythings still working fine

Well it's working again for now. I guess when I get the 3 rings of death I would know it was coming
