I have XBCversion 2.5 i havn't use it to burn any games since i got it but anywaz i remmber with older verison of xbc even whn i set the write speed to 2x the program still use to brun faster than 2x has any one other than me notice that problem also how can i fix it ( that if its not fixed in xbc 2.5x)

IF i know whn i used imgburn engine through xbc whn it tried to finilize the disc it used to give me and I/O error
( i was running 64x XP tho)

yes it says 2x, but in fact DVD+R is 2.4x when burning

but it don't say 2.4x at the bottom of XBC where it tell you the speedwhich it burning at u usualy see somethink 3950kbs been burnt or somethink like tht

i think it burning at 4x??? but tht was with the old XBC i never used the new xbc 2.5 just wondering if still ahs tht problem

Usually a 2.4x burn will take about 45 minutes, and a 4x burn usually takes abot 22 - 24 minutes.

I used to burn my backups at 2.4x but ive started to burn them at 4x with no problems.

As long as your backups are working it shouldnt matter what the burn speed is.
