I have no floppy capabilities though is there another way?

He's making more complicated than what it really is. You shouldn't even use a floppy to lock your Xbox HD because Xboxhdm will do it for you.

Use Evox to backup your Xbox HD. (System Utiils------>Backup) That should produce these five files in your dashboard folder. bios.bin, disk.bin, eeprom.bin, hddinfo.txt, and hddkey.bin. (For me there in F:\apps\Evox\backup. (It depends on where you installed evox)

Take those five files and copy them to your PC and place them in ms0:\xboxhdm\linux\eeprom and then execute "make-win-iso.bat in the root of Xboxhdm and burn the iso.

Follow the guide your using up to step 7. When it's time to lock your xbox HD, use option 3 when Xboxhdm boots. (After the CD boots, your given 4 options. Chose option 3 to lock it.) After you chose option 3, it'll let you lock the drive so type Lockhd and then lockhd -a (that'll lock your drive using the EEPROM on your CD)

Then mod your xbox and put the drive back into your Xbox and it should work.

Wow - this is where being a newb gets tuff! I believe Evox is 1 type of "dashboard" mod right? I'm not using that though. I have XBMC - T3C4 installed. Can you suggest steps for that type of system?
