I just bought an xbox with an xecuter 2 and it won't turn off, by this I mean the whole console the power switch doesn't work. Is there a trick to it or something, please help! I'm using the evox reloaded dash if that helps.

Also all my gta games freeze at the loading screen should I load my originals that I own again to the hdd.

I know this is old as hell but I just bought one and have the same problem. It won't power off at all. If I use the button it won't respond to power but eject is fine. So I put a new one in from a deck I had sitting around and that didn't fix it. So I have to unplug to power off and leave it that way because even if I unplug and replug it will just power on no matter what. Hoping someone could shed some light one this subject. Probably why I got it for $25 with a 120gb HDD.

It sounds as though you have trace corrosion. Have a look here (it's down at the moment, but when it's working it shows you how to repair the problem).
