interesting article i came across on digg where someone took halo3 screenshots and transformed them into a stereoscopic image (3d). i don't have a pair of 3d glasses to test this with, but it looks like a really cool idea.

as that is cool, it isnt stereoscopic. stereoscopic is when you have two photographs side by side taken from slightly different angles to give a 3d effect when using special lensed glasses.

No not quite, stereoscopic is when there are literally two different images with lenses that make you focus the two images together.

The two methods are quite similar but are still different.

Kind of a moot point the pictures are still really cool.
