I can't believe I have to ask the question here, but I can't figure out wether or not I need tot have the Infectus-nod installed to be able to downgrade.

I have extracted the "stuff" from linux, including the CPU-key.

Can it be done without soldering?

i believe it needs to be done with the infectus chip, even if you already have the CPU key, and the specifics on how to do it have not been released publicly yet
