is it possible to just ftp xbmc? instead of using a boot disc

i have a executer2 chip and only just found out that i can do lots of cool things with it.
im wanting to use emulators and things, but having a custom dash seems like the first thing i should do

FTP XBMC to a folder on the E drive. Usually E:\Apps\XBMC. Then you can use the shortcuts in the tools section to make it the default dash. Adding the MC360 skin adds some versatility.

What you need to do is give the XBox it's own IP, like 192.168.0.2 and your computer 192.168.0.1. The subnet on both is 255.255.255.0. On the Xbox make sure it's a Static NOT DHCP. Also note, XBMC has build FTP where you could FTP files over while watching a video or playing music!

Here is a good guide for further networking help:

Good luck!
