Hey

I'm sure i'm not the only won who hates the PS2 and Ps3 controllers,,, i want a controller where the 2 analog sticks are not side by side (hence xbox360 controller)

Is there any 3rd party solutions? or whats the best and cheapest way to do this?

i just recently bought a ps3 and i found out that u can use computer controllers (and joysticks which is what i used) with the ps3

there is a controller that looks identical to the xbox360 controller for pc. it looks identical because its made by microsoft for pc tongue.gif

If PC controllers will work, it makes me wonder if I can buy the wireless PC adapter kit and hook it to my PS3, subsequently allowing my wireless controllers (& maybe guitar) to work. If I can find one cheap enough, I'll give it a go.

The answer is no.
I have the 360-PC wireless adapter and the PS3 just says unknown USB device inserted.
So thats a no go. sad.gif

The wally world closest to me had that controller on clearance. I didn't have a use for it at the time, but I wish I'd gotten it anyway. At least my DS3 will be here shortly.

Would it work on the PS3 though?
Does it have vibration?
Why can't some company make a wireless clone of the 360 style controller for the PS3.
I have a wired PS2 controller that is a clone of the 360 controller it also has vibration but doesn't work on the PS3 and I haven't used it on the PS2 to know if the vibration even works in them.

well i want one too the only thing i can think of is to wait until this comes in stock, see if a logitec chillstream works or buy a powerwave controller that will definitely work

I have that controller (plugged in to a RadioShack PSX->USB controller adapter) and think it's totally great. You'll get rumble in your PS2 games with that adapter, but not the PS3 games. My review of it at Amazon.com (username "Save") is here: http://www.amazon.com/review/product/B0006...rBy=addFiveStar

Be aware that you can connect a Splitfish tilt sensor to it (with a little ingenuity) and have it performing like a Sixaxis controller.
