I just wanted to leave some positive feedback love for Albut35. He was expedient, professional and proficient in all aspects of the transaction.
He repaired my RROD 360 and had it returned to me in 4 days - including mail time!!!
You can't go wrong with selecting him for your flashing and repair needs. FYI...he's located in the midwest so he's pretty much central to any location in the contiguous 48 states.
Thanks, bro!

here is some more feedback....
have to say i am unimpressed to say the least with the state of my wii. the cover for the controller and memory card is no longer on my wii. the case doesnt close all the way. there is a rattling sound like as screw or something is loose inside the unit. the battery has tape on it to keep it shut because the screw was stripped out......it looks like you took a drill to where the nut goes. it just keeps falling out.....
i have to say, i could not possibly recommend you to anyone for a wii service. the marks left on my wii would suggest you used a screw driver to pry open the case in all the wrong spots. a refund or a replacement case would be nice, it was in perfect condition when i sent it to you.
i will post back about my 360 drive after i test that out.

Sorry to give a bad feedback but i after i saw what this guy did to my xbox for a xclamp fix.
I sent him my console and after he supposedly fixed the console i played with it for maybe 2 days 1 hour each day and then RROD. So i decided to take the xbox 360 apart to see what he did and why it failed so quickly.
1) The guy did not open the xbox correctly, many broken legs for the vent on either side of the xbox, means he brute forced it open
2) One of the screws he used was different then the other screws which makes the mobo wobble.
3) 4 of the washers were different heights at 1.5mm or 2mm and were used in place of 1mm washers
4) He used Screw + nylon washer+metal washer + mobo + nylon washer + metal washer + heat sink. This method would only work if he made the holes bigger on the xbox case but since he didnt it warped the mobo and most likely f'ed up the xbox.
5) The amount of thermal past on the chips was pretty ridiculous. Its so bad that i will post the pictures that i took. This also cased the xbox to overheat since applying alot of thermal past defeats the purpose of its use to cool things down.
I already emailed the guy and he claims to be busy but yet he is not busy to keep posting in this thread to make more money. If i knew this guy was clueless on what he is doing i would of done it myself which i did and the xbox is back to a working condition. The guy didnt even offer for me to ship the xbox back for him to fix it or even a refund for not knowing how to fix the xbox.
All in all this guy might be good at other things but i would not recommend him to fix your xbox 360. Please find someone else to fix your xclamp replacement

Wow alright Bassam19. Let's get the story straight!!
1) Your xbox case was already in horrible shape from you trying to open it before without the proper tools (using a screw driver to open it, it seemed)
2)I used all M5-.80x10 Screws, and it doesnt matter if some are black and some are silver (which is probably why you're saying they are "different" hah, they are the same size!!"
3)I have no clue where you are getting your information about my washers. I used 1 #10 Nylon washer on both sides of each leg of the heatsink along with 1 5mm on each side of each leg. I use the LawDawg method. So I have no idea where you're getting your info that I'm suppose to cut out the metal case. It seems like you have NO idea what you're even talking about. LawDawgs method:
http://copronymous.com/wp-content/uploads/...r-the-3rlod.pdf4) Same as answer as #3, You obviously have no idea how Lawdawgs Xclamp Fix is performed!!
5)The thermal past looks like your smeered it around to look worse than it is. The Artic Silver thermal past is soft (unlike the retail thermal paste) So maybe you didn't know that it is soft and easy to smeer?!
I never claimed that your 360 would work FOREVER. No 360s do. So don't get on my thread claiming I don't know what I am doing since your 360 failed for the second time.
You can look all throughout my feedback if you want and see my MANY MANY successful RROD fixes. I'm sorry that your 360 didn't last as long as others but that is NO reason to get on here claiming that I do not know what I am doing whenever you are the one posting false information and claims that show you have no idea how the Xclamp fix is preformed.

I am currently having another 360 set up by Albut35. I am a satisfied return customer.
I had sent him one before, about a year ago. The back story with the last one I sent him is this: I bought it refurbed, cheap, from a gray market vendor and it had the RROD right out of the box. He fixed this (I could have sent to MS but the warantee was very questionable from the fly by night company that I bought it from, Blue Bay electronics or something like that). He repaired it and it lasted a year of moderate use, so I feel I got my monies worth. The 360 is really a very poorly engineered machine.
I sent him a Wii back then too, he was not able to mod it (it was about the time they had just started making a different revision wii that didn't support wiikey properly) and he was very cool, sent it back, ate a shipping cost, even offered to help me to try to get someone else to sort it out. I was not happy with the result, but I was happy with how he kept me posted and was strait forward with me the whole time.
I will post more feedback after I get my system back.

Thanks for the feedback. The Wii was whenever the D2C Wii's started coming out and I didn't feel comfortable modding a D2C for the first time on someone else's Wii besides my own. So I sent it back and he was very cool with it and very understandable.

The only reason i sent the xbox to you to fix was because people said you knew what you were doing and i didnt want to open the xbox because i thought i'd mess it up but obviously i should of done it myself.
2) The screws were not black and i know what they should look like because i got some from both Home Depot and Lowe's and there a bit different from each other. I am not saying they wont work im just saying when your inconsistent in the screws you use that might effect the xbox to not work. From reading all the xclamp tutorials most of the tutorials say how critical to have your xbox sit straight and if its not it will warp again. One of the screws you used is slightly bigger then the rest and is not from Lowe's you probably got it from Home Depot.
3) I will take a picture of your washers to show that you dont know what your talking about and that you had 4 washers that are different heights then the others.
4) Believe me i read more then my share on the xclamp fixes to fix this xbox after it stopped working 3 days into receiving it from you. Here is the guide i was referring too
Wilhelm's improved X-Clamp Fix I looked at Lawdawgs Xclamp tutorial and your correct he does use 2 washers before mobo and 2 after. I apologize, that was my mistake.
5) As for the thermal past, why would i smear it to make it look more? What would i gain by doing that? What you did was apply blobs of thermal paste without smearing it and just put the heatsinks on it which is ok but you applied too much so the xbox was overheating, its that simple. No need to get offended.
After cleaning it off and applying a THIN layer and removing the washers screw that were different, i was able to get the xbox going again. I knew that your RROD fix was not for ever but i expected it to last couple of months, yours lasted 3 days, i could of done the towel trick and it would of lasted more then 3 days.
Anyways im not busting your chops, just be more careful when your doing the xclamp fix for people because your not doing it for free your getting paid to do it.

I am sure he's good with the wii and flashing, but i was shocked that he got very good feedback and thats why i sent my 360 to him. But when it only works 3 days and then you open the 360 up and you find the thermal paste it makes you question on how really good this person is. Maybe he was having a bad day when he did my xbox or he was in a hurry i dont know. Thats why i took pictures with my cell phone to have proof.

I just got back a 360 that I had sent Albut35 and while I haven't opened up the case to take a look at the work I have put the 360 through some moderate usage and it seems to be holding up fine. Also there is no noticeable damage that was done to the case and it appears to be in the same shape it was shipped out in. also Albut35 was good about answering questions via e-mail in a timely manner and the turnaround was pretty quick. if the 360 should red ring again within the next few days ill make a note here but as it stands I am quite satisfied with his work and would recommend him to others.

Thanks for the feedback!

I delt with Albut when I was trying to get a broken 360 repaired. Of the bat he answered all my question pretty quickly. He was never able to fix the 360, but he tried to help me and offered some suggestions, but in the end he was never able to repair it. He gave me a refund and sent it back. All in all we sent a total of 30 messages! He really keeps in touch (and I probably annoyed the crap out of him!). I'm definitely going to send him more business.

Thanks for being a good customer whenever something can't be fixed (which is sometimes the case). Unlike the other guy above! I hope to see more business from you! Thanks!

I am a 3 times repeat customer. Had a machine die (RROD again), so I bought a cheap replacement. Just got a FW done, cost $40 for an old refurbed 360 I bought at Gamestp for $169. Awesome work again, I couldn't be happier, the drive plays everything fine and runs quieter then it did before. No problems accessing Live for updates & all, running the latest everything.
I send him the RROD to give it a go, but since it has had RROD twice before, the 360 was done. I was not charged for this, so thanks a lot!
Highly recommended.

I have a question for you. I've noticed that youseem to have quite a bit of experience working with the rrod, and i ran into a situation you may be able to help me with. I pretty good with these sort of things most of the time, and have been flashing xbox's for a few years now. I've also fixed a few rrods using lawdawgs method. I recently attempted a fix and ran into a problem. when i got the xbox its was rrod, with error code 0102, known to be a CPU/GPU issue and typically fixed with the xclamp replacement. so, i went about doing it, exactly as lawdawgs method shows. i also happen to have a heatgun laying around, as i did a lot of painting at times. after removing the heatsinks, i followed the tutorial on reflowing your xbox 360 using a heatgun. i was very careful, infact i doubt i did it long enough to help. so afterwards i replaced the xclamps and followed lawdawgs method. buti ran inot 2 problems. first, when i turn on the xbox to "overheat" it, it gives me about 2 seconds of power, then nothing, orange light on power brick, and same error code as before. so after reading up, i loosened the bolts on the heatsinks to see if they were too tight. still had same issue with power brick with orange light, but this time i get a new error code, 0002, with rrod, which is believed to be a network interface error. Ive been working on it for 2 days now and cant figure it out. So im curious if you have ever had this issue, and if i was wiling to send it to you, if you think you can fix it. If its not fixable, or you know you wont be able to, thats fine, atleast then i will know im wasting my time. thanks in advance for the help.

I doubt its fixable. Sounds like your 360 is done for to me. You might have hurt it with the heat gun but once some xboxs get the RROD, they can't be fixed, while others can. Best bet would be to part out the pieces or sell it in the BST section.
