Thanks for the feedback... I forgot to do the scripts window so I'm working on adding a player in there and I've revised the readme a little. I'll post a new link when i finish that. Any bugs to report?

p.s. If you've already installed the original version, then just add MyScripts.xml (from the PAL folder of the new download) to your MC360 PAL folder as that xml file is the only revision to the code.

Will this mod work in conjunction with TimDog's Monster Mod? I think this looks real hot, but I can't be with out the Video Monster Mod. If anyone knows....Drop me some word!! Thanks
One more thing......Is there an option , say on the Guide Blade maybe , that lets you select which blades have the window? I'd like it only for media blade and inside of the market place. This is not a request or anything....just inquiring?

Sorry to disappoint, but they definitely won't work together. If spaz7986 was interested it could be integrated into the monster mod, but you can't install one and then the other unfortunately.

although I will not personally integrate it (i'm busy with other stuff (mc360 skin for AMT) and I don't use the monster mod) I don't care if anybody integrates the code from my mod into the monster mod for personal use. But if it's integrated and used as an official part of the monster mod I would appreciate credit for the code in the readme file of the monster mod. If you didn't read the entire readme file I included with my mod I put a whole lot of instructions down at the bottom for how to integrate my code into your own custom xml files. I'm not positive but I think that if you followed the directions at the bottom of my readme EXACTLY that you could successfully integrate my code into the monster mod. If someone successfully integrates my code into the monster mod and works out the bugs and then sends me their results I might be willing to add a player in the video marketplace window and other places but I don't know yet. I just don't want the headache of bugs and testing and all that comes with that especially for something I'm never going to use (the monster mod).
simply: if you want it bad enough do it yourself or figure out how to... feel free to ask me questions if you can't figure something out (I might have the answer I might not)

i wasn't suggesting you do it at all, but sounds like you got a solution for fourtwenty anyway. Oh, and just so you know, the video marketplace window already has this so that wouldn't be an issue

I hardly use xbmc's audio player at all but if you guys want I could add visualization windows in for when you're playing audio in the same places. (don't know how good it would look)

Added a window to just my Video section. Works like a dream. Thanks! Now I can still see whats playing while I decide what video is next on the playlist. Great for those Looney Tunes Shorts!!!!

I really wanna use this awesome mod but Im having probs....
I replaced all the files in my MC360 folder with the ones in your rar and nothing happened....
rebooted the xbox....no changes in the skin at all....dunno why...I am using the latest releases of both XBMC and MC360 but I just can't seem to get it working....any ideas spaz?

Sorry that an update is taking so long... I'm in the final week of my colllege quarter so you get the picture... don't try using this code on the new updates to mc360 and xbmc because it will destroy the text of the skin. I'll probably release an update in about 10 days...

Here's a christmas present for all you mc360 users...
I updated the code to the newest svn and added some animation effects that make the transition from the media source windows to the main blades a lot more graceful. I added some other animation effects that are hardly noticeable but unify the mini video window more with the skin. Same instructions as before: just overwrite the files in your MC360/PAL and MC360/PAL16x9 folders with the files contained in the rar. More advanced instructions are included in the readme file if you want to do a custom install (if you already have other mods).

I just spent an hour or so on this and got a PAL version done using Rev.1096 of MC360. I just looked through the old mod and latest skin files and found the appropriate differences. Seems to work fine. None of the nice transitions that spaz talked about are in this.
Note: Only a PAL folder so far.
I'll do 16x9 and NTSC soon enough I suppose, but I only use the normal PAL.
It's not so hard really, longest part was the includes.xml and trying to track down what ended up being 'ListItemThumbs'.
