I got the xbox 360 back up and running played movies for two hr and it played just fine and will play cd music and xbox one games for as long as you want but for some reason it stopped playing my dvd game back ups it will play for 5 min then freeze up all was working for the last year can someone help

What happens when it freezes? Does the picture dissapear? or does it freeze with funny lines on the screen?

Just freezes up and stops picture is still there and no funny lines on the screen and all my backups were working just fine tried some other backup that i no work but doing the same thing

Its possibly the first signs of the dreaded RROD.

This happened to one of my 360's but was fixed using the xclamp fix which is really easy to do.

Also try the games without the HDD attached and see if that makes any difference.
