hi all..
i have been backing up my game for a while now...
i just realized that when i burn XBC says the book type is dvd+r DL....
i have tested the game they read fine on my 360.

but wouldn't this compromise the stealth of the backups ?

i am using a pioneer 110D with 1.39 FW, is this normal ?

here is what IMGburn says about my burner with a backup in it...

after recording it is DVD-rom, or open in in dvdinfopro if you want to confirm. It is fine
haris2887
ok.
i have also read that the size should be 7.5.something. gb for xbox360 games ( i read this from the "how to verify backup" thread)
but mine is 7.83...
why is that ?

It's the whole conversion thing. Windows reads 1MB as 1,024 bytes. Add that up in the 7-8GB range and it works out to that kind of a discrepancy. Just like a regular single layer DVD-R/+R disc has approximately 4,700MB but really it only works out to about 4.38GB.
