I just pulled out my xbox hard drive and erased everything on it because I want to sell it. I want to set the hard drive to the same setting as if I'm buying a hard drive from a computer store. How would I do that?

I would start checking the tutorials first, then do a search on the forums if I couldn't find one.

Make sure the HD is unlocked, and do a format in Windows on the HD

well if u didnt make a backup of cdefxyz folders before you installed evox and all that ... its gonna make things more difficult...if u did make a backup, transfer the files and make sure the msdash is installed so it boots to that...and you should be golden.
otherwise...ur gonna need to get those folders...and copy em over...
i dont know why u formatted..cause now ur gonna need to make new partitions...id definetly check SLAYERS INSTALL 2.0 ...because if i remember correctly, theres an option on there to reinstall original dash on original hdd...yeah almost positive!

No, I'm just trying to convert this xbox hard drive into a pc hard drive. This is what I've done so far:
1. Unlocked the hard drive using configmagic.
2. backed up the files, but don't know what to do with them.
3. Now I'm stuck.
Should I completely erase the hard drive and just insert it into my pc and format it with windows or whatever my desire is or do i still have to do more stuff to it so that that hard drive is new as if I just bought it from a computer store?
