I've got a wireless network, but my router is nowhere near my 360 so i therefore cannot connect with ethernet cable. I really want xbox live, but is the adapter worth it?
I notice the adapter at a review site:
http://compnetworking.about.com/od/homenet...360wireless.htmThen I find that a decent deal for it is $81 instead of $100.

It should work ok with normal gaming and XBL but i willwarn you now for streaming movies and in particular HD movies it a little hit and miss. Also of course it would be good to check with your laptop 1st that you can indeed get a good wireless reception where your going to have your xbox placed.

Linksys, US Robotics and Buffalo all make wireless adapters that do the same thing for much less. Check their websites and Ebay. Look for Wireless G adapters. The linksys one is model# WGA54AG
