3 days ago i decided to upgrade my MC360 because i heard of the new "blackmarket". So i got the latest version of XBMC and the newest MC360. I put it on my xbox and it works fine. There are only a few things that doesn't work 4 me. The Blackmarket when clicked on doesn't bring up a window or anything. It just sits there like i never clicked it. no freezing no nothing. Samething when i go 2 mc360 Live Place and click youtube. Makes the noise that i clicked it, but no response. I can still use the update/ dl trailers function and a utube script that is in installed XBMC scripts. I no i am connected to the internet cause of FTP and stream fowards and stuff. I have Theme Browser installed so thats not an option. I retried dling XBMC and the MC360 multiple times. (even diff versions of XBMC). On my computer using the XBMC_PC the blackmarket runs, so its the xbox. Another problem 4 me is the gamertag. Everything works except the GET FROM XBOX.COM option in the tab when start is pressed. It does the same thing as the blackmarket. Its like is wasn't even pressed. All other options work fine. If the left thumbstick when clicked in is suppose to bring up a tab or w/e (like in the previous MC360's) mine doesn't. I am using a V1.6 xbox softmoded using Ndure (if it mattters). Also its not the controller, i tried diff `1s 2. Plz help.

Sound like you got some networking problems. Let me summarize..

Working:
* Youtube
* Theme Browser

Not Working:
* Blackmarket
* Gamertag updates

Is that right? Thats really strange because the MC360 Blackmarket, which was integrated into the Skin, is a Theme Browser without additionally skin support.

Whats the "latest" XBMC Version you are running?

I am using XBMC-SVN_2007-11-04_rev10675-T3CH and the new 964 mc 360. The utube option doesn't actually work on the XBMC live option. only when i go to installed scripts and click utube does it actually work. Blackmarket nothing loads and same with the xbox.com option for ur gamertag. It worked in previous xbmc's/Mc360s. i still have the old xbmc like xbmc 2.0.1 or something. the reason i dont use that xbmc is because when i use the new mc360 skin there is no text/font. but my gamertag does connect. i no its not my network cause i have an ip in dhcp. i can also use xlink kai so i have no idea what it can be. All the problems i mention work on my comp so its an odd thing it doesn't work on the xbox. All the scripts connect to the internet and i can browse/ check my email. so if anyone nows wuts rong plz lemme no.

I recommend to stick with one version, and that is the weekly SVN release by T3CH, the XBMC 2006-11-12 2.0.1 FAT/SLIM releases are mostly outdated when it comes to most of the scripts and skins.

It sounds like your current versions of XBMC are mixed up or isn't installed correctly, you could do a clean install, that means deleting the XBMC folder, deleting the savedata(TDATA/UDATA 0face008), emptying the cache and then install the weekly XBMC SVN release again.

just tried it. no go. does any1 have another ideas? samething occured.

Same issue, Weather works, Trailers work but anything else i click does not work, Themes button dont work , Youtube dont work, XBMC update dont work, but MC360 Update works and says im up to date.

Im the same youtube did work until yesterday now it brings up the lists of videos but wont play them. Think there must be an update due coz if you delete the youtube files in the mc360/extras/youtube folder and replace them with the files from youtube 3.2 got via installer passion (just the contents) youtube then works just with the crappy black bacground. Perhaps someone could look at this and see whats changed.

Did part of it replaced Blackmarket script in extras with Installer Passion script (yes I know they are French but they are keeping up to date the latest revision is this month) changed the script theme to default (orange) and it looks pretty cool especially on the skins with the abillity to have backdrops of the skins showing.

Not a fix BlackBolt will be too happy with but hey it works and looks quite good. Maybe Blackbolt could get their skin working properly on this blade (this blade is the only one I have any problems with everything else works like a dream). Suggestion with the gamer card which always seems to be an issue display your profile info pic etc along with last game played hyper link to take you straight there.

I do like the idea of the market place just a shame it doesnt work
