I think we should all pitch in and contribute to this thread. Simply post what chipset your motherboard has, if you used a pci to sata card, the chipset of that and if it worked or not.
Example:
Mobo Chipset: Intel ICH8
PCI to Sata: VIA 6421
Result: Successfully flashed Benq!
thanks. I hope this will help us get a better understanding of what chipset combonations are compatable.

It's better to mention if it's flashed in DOS or Windows
