Oh man, it has been a long time since i've been on xbox-scene.

Well, My 360 has a burned out GPU according to microsoft. They want $100 to fix it (but dont worry, it comes with a 1 year warrenty! the same that expired before any problems before!); Anyone have any way to fix it themselves, or any tips for getting microsoft to comp it? (I'm pretty good at getting things on the phone, free phones, price cuts, free texting, etc... from my cell phone company..... but microsoft isnt hearing any of it).

What are the symptoms? Errors?

I just fixed one for a customer like that. No video but the lights, dvd, and audio were all fine. I fixed it using Lawdawgs method:
