Dont know if anyone knows it, but iniversial remotes work on the 360, so does your comcast, or charter, digital cable tv remote.

dvd player functions work great, some other buttons will eject/close the dvd tray, guide , etc.

Ive tested this on my charter remote and a generik universial remote from walmart.

Just incase noone knew about it, ya can get a cheaper remote than the official m$ one.

Yaa I think people use the harmonics one a lot.

I got a universal remote with my HD-DVD drive, but for the life of me I can't find the article to code it to your TV so you can change the volume and change channels etc on it.

the harmony 880 is pretty awesome...

The Harmony remotes are the donkeys.
I specifically like the way you can dled profiles for devices.
i like the way i have a Media Center button on the remote which will switch on the TV and my AMP and the 360 and then load then media center extender all in one go.

they really are nice bits of kit.
