Question,
I have a Xobx, v1.1, tried to solder the holes and it was working. Now the box won't boot at all with the Matrix in it or not. It seems to boot, but no display comes up, and it also won't eject the DVD drive as well. I had this issue once and it came back, but now for the life of me I can't get it to come back at all.

I have exactlly the same problem, won't boot with or without mod sounds like it is booting but nothing on screen. DVD drive will not eject either.
Did you manage to fis yours and if so how?

Are you guys positive the IDE and yellow cables are secured to the mobo and the DVD drive? This can prevent the Xbox from booting, depending on your BIOS.
I've got the same problem. so how did you guys fix this problem. Need to know, otherwise I'm buying a replacement xbox over the weekend. please help.
