i can ftp to my box now through game save i was finally able to put on hard drive though error 13 (read my previous thread as this is an update)

i can see all my stuff!!! my options before me are to now:

go ahead and backup my whole F and E drives to my comp and then do a full install, (assuming that it tampers with those partitions)

do a minimum install (assuming the same but hoping not)

or transfer the files necessary to drive C myself through ftp


ive tried changing the xbe file out for both the evox (which was what i originally had on this HDD from the chipped box) and unleashx and renaming to xboxdash.xbe .. neither have worked so theres something more that needs to be transfered or done.


Please help. i right there but i dont want to F up!!

i went ahead and spent the rest of the day letting FTP backup over 100gb of games and saves to a secondary HDD and did the minimum install and im up and running ... it didnt mess w/ my F drive or saves btw, at least the minimum install. but its worth having most of my games back that i dont have the original discs to anymore, or have lent out and never heard from again lol

If you dont have the original, you are not entitled to the backup.
