is Leaf/Xlink kai 100% safe since the new "XBL ban wave"
I haven't dared to plug my ethernet cable in since last week, so i need to know if using leaf or xlink does go through live in any way?
is all i need to do is change the gateway thingy yo my own ip? so it looks like i was laning?

They dont run through live... 
most simply put those programs just make the system think that it's hooked up to a LAN.
