i got my hatachi into mode b anddumped the FW, i then tried to switch keys with a samsung drive which i thought it went well , but i got an error 64 when i put in in the xbox, now my issue is i cannot get the drive back into modeb using slax it just wont happen , i tried it about 10 times now with no success, any ideas?????

It sounds like when you flashed the sammy you did not spoof it, so if you have the sammy still use fw tool box and spoof the fw to the sammy so it thinks its a 78 drive.

now im guessung you mean you can not get the 78 into mode B what all did you do to it? just dump it? I woul use one of the connectivity kits with the external mode B buttons so you do not have to use the slax disk
