I am having problems trying to get xbmp 2.3 to load up. I am running evox 8.3752 and on the menu I am getting the flash evox bios selection. When I select it I get a error saying flash type sst-49LF020 error reading bios file. Is it required to flash the bios to use xbmp? Also how do I where is evo-x IGR and how do I disable it?

If you have a modchip installed it requires a homebrew BIOS to use / run homebre software. XBMP is an example of hoembrew software.

You can turn off evox IGR in the evox.ini file. This can be done using a text editor or via the evox settings menu.

Look thorugh the evox.ini file . . .

IGR = No

See my pinned guide @ top of page for instructions of how to install XBMP. Ignore CVS and Relax if you dont want to set them up.

I have the xecuter 2 in a ver 1.1. You kinda lost me on the homebrew bios. What is it and how can i find it? What is the IGR for? Also cvr and relax do I need them? Does it make xbmp installation easier or allow the program to have more featuers?

A homebrew BIOS is Xecuter 4976.02 or EvoX D.6.

Its what enables you to read unsigned code, Backups, Imports etc. It is installed on your modchip eeprom. It can be upgraded if the modchip supports the upgrade feature.

IGR allows you perform an In Game Reset . . . i.e. return to the dashboard whilst a game is in progress.

CVS is an intermdiate release of XBMP that contains new features, bug fixes etc.

Relax is a Win32 based program used to stream media to the XBMP. An example being your pictures, mp3, movies reside on a PC and XBMP accesses them via a network connection.
