I just got my hands on an upconverting dvd player that upconverts to 1080i. I was thinking about the HD-DVD addon for my 360, but I`m not sure whether it would be worth the $200. Is the quality that much better in HD than an upconverted signal?

The picture quality in a HD-dvd vs. an upconverted, in my opinion, is like comparing apples to oranges. HD surpasses an upconverted dvd anyday.
