hey guys, ive been reading up on those models / serial number that i told you about...
turns out that its the type of chip (cpu and gpu) according to a few differnt sites i looked at. the original 360 has 90 nm chips. these are the ones that had the most problems (heat issues, ROL, etc)
what i heard about was a chip that was 65nm, from what i read it has smaller transistors which mean smaller size and less energy consumtion, therefore less heat! the code name for these chips is the "falcon"
also i heard about another chip in the making that is going to be a 40nm, expected august 08... these have the code name of "jasper"
has anyone else heard about this? i want to know more about it because im thinking about buying a new one and i want one that isnt as likely to mess up...
if my statements are wrong im sorry, please correct me! this is just from browsing a little bit around the net.
anyone have more information about these? thanks
