Has anyone tryed streaming divx on both Windows media player 11 and Media center Extender

Is one better quality than the other and does one support more codecs than the other

I have the dec 4 update and optional media update and use wmp11 to share under xp most of my videos work but approx 50 out of 600 don't i get error 80-C00DF242.

I'm wondering if i installed windows media center and the extender if that would support the unsupported files i have.

I was starting off using media center and i would go to my divx files and it would say video cant be played no video codec, but then i turned on wmp11 media sharing and those same files played on it, so i use wmp11.

I tryed it on windows media center and your right wmp 11 is better
