I have installed the NME1.2 with a Toshiba-Samsung drive. When I play a backup the drive isn't spinning at full speed. For some games, this read speed is to slow and I have some lags and short freezes (CoD4, GoW). Is there any way to play backups with full speed with the nme1.2 and a samsung drive? Maybe the NME2.0 is a solution?

i have installed over 100 NME mods and never had an issue of disc slow down!

what media are you using?

I'm using verbatims only. When I play an original game the drive is spinning at normal speed, 12x I think. But when I put a backup in my 360 the speed is reduced to 4x, like some firmware do to reduce the noise of the drive. But I think only the combination nme1.2 - samsung is reducing the speed, because my second 360 has also the nme1.2 but with a hitachi drive and the backups are running at 12x.
