Super Mario 64
Works better with Rice, normal speed and things look smoother.
Daed runs a bit too fast but looks a bit brighter

Here are a few games I tried... hopefully this stuff will be useful to the author in case he reads this although I'm sure he's already tried these games:
Super Mario 64:
Rice: Works flawlessly.
Blast Corps:
Rice: Works but slow and with graphic issues. (also crashes when you exit the game)
Daedalus: Works but can't see the vehicle.
Body Harvest: Doesn't work at all.
1080 Snowboarding:
Rice and Daedalus: Works, graphic issues and stutters a fair bit
Banjo Kazooie (U):
Rice: Works but slow and transition effects are totally screwed.
Daedalus: Doesn't work contrary to what the readme file says.
Anyway, I'm very impressed how good Mario 64 runs. That alone has made my day. Thanks to whomever made this.

Here's a game that runs at fullspeed and which was not included on the N64 Info page:
Doom 64 (U) - Works best in Rice mode. The graphics become corrupted if you press C stick Up - soldiers will disappear and then reappear and all sorts of issues. Other than that, this runs as good as Mario 64.
Other non-supported games:
Bangai-O: Graphics issues rendering the game unplayable.
Baku Bomberman: Works without graphics errors in Daedalus mode. Slow.
As for Bust-A-Move 99, a game that was reported to be fully playable:
There are a few graphics problems in Rice mode which pretty much make the game impossible to play. In Daedalus mode there are no graphics issues but I've encountered a problem where the game locks up in Arcade mode after the second stage. This is the US version BTW.
Banjo Kazooie (E) runs in Daedalus mode though very slowly.

Hey guys, for Mario 64, what's the extension of the yours? Mine is .v64, and it's giving me choppy sound as noted in other threads. I've seen many say that it works perfect... Just wanna know what rom extension you're using.
Thanks all.

I get choppy sound in Mario 64 with both plugins, and with both v64, z64 and usa extensions. I'm thinking that it might be something with using digital audio ... does anyone have perfect sound if they're using an optical connection through the high def pack? Maybe it's perfect with standard rcas ... have to hunt for mine and test.

I'm using an optical connection for sound... that most certainly could be the problem.

Well, it still has choppy sound with rcas, it's a bit less noticable, but definately there. It's just a beta and I'm thrilled with how well it emulates Mario 64 (one of my all-time favourites). I do notice a few graphical glitches though ... items that rotate, or fade in/out (ie Mario in the warp halfway up the mountain in the first painting), and the stars themselves ... for some reason whenever I qualify for a star it's half black.
Just stuff that's bound to be sorted in further releases.

Bomberman:
Frooze up with both Rice and Daed halfway through the intro.
Dr. Mario:
Will load with both plugins but you get less graphix errors with Rice in the intro. When you start playing the game there are bad graphix problems.
South Park Chef Luv Shack:
Frooze after intro with both plugins
Road Rash 64:
To my surprise this one plays!! With Daed 32 the bikes are invisible but with Rice 32 you can see the bikes and audio is good for both plugins. The only error using Rice 32 plugin is that the background bleeds ( like when you see a tree and start to move the 1 tree turns into a single line of about 30 trees)

Tested Mario 64 with composite and it's respective sound cords, and component cables, with optical sound, also with left and right audio channel cords, and it still has choppy sound.

I just downloaded PJ64-X 0.6, burned it onto CDRW (Since I've got Xecuter1) and launched Super Mario 64. First with the Rice plugin which resulted in a noticable slowdown and choppy sound, and after with the Daedalus plugin which resulted in a playable speed and almost perfect sound. But still it ain't perfect. It seems like compatibility depends on what format/extension the rom is/has, and also what countrycode the rom has. Any ideas/suggestions of how to make the games run perfectly?

Gillian - keep in mind that you might want to try different versions of Mario 64, such as the european, and japanese version. It has been mentioned that the US version of Banjo Kazooie doesn't work as well as the european version.

No matter what graphics plugin you use, it is using the same sound sources. Its from jabo's basic sound plugin. The audio is abit choppy. In some games like mario 64 its only very slight, and once you start playing the game you pretty much forget about it.
A known problem with Rice's plugin is that repeater glitch (someone called it 'bleed'). The author worked on fixing it, and did patch it so it didnt happen, but then it caused a whole slur of other problems.
On another note, to clear up so no one assumes the opposite, the author is infact going to continue on the project. This wasnt just some lets pick up some cash and hit the road type deal. Some of you might have seen rice released his 5.0 plugin 4 days ago. This will be encorperated in the next version, and lets hope it fixes the repeater glitch.
And guys, as far as compatibility, open up Project64X.rdb with notepad, and you will see every single known rom, and a Status= note next to each rom. I personally tested alot of roms and put notes. It isnt too specific, and compatible pretty much means without major flaws.
Ive noticed that rice's plugin is abit more smooth, and the daedalus plugin is abit more sharp, but a little choppy.

I'm probably going to repeat others here but these are the ones i've found work well:
Center Court Tennis (E)[!]
Chameleon Twist 2 (USA)
Charlie Blast's Territory
Chopper Attack (U)[!]
Choro Q64 (JAP)
Choro Q64 II (JAP)
Chou Snowboard Kids (J)[!]
Clay Fighter 63 1-3 (E)[!]
Mario 64
There are some minor graphics glitches on some games, but all perfectly playable. Well done to the coder(s) on this excellent beta!

Thanks for the update Iriez.
So it is confirmed then that in reality, there are sound issues on Mario 64 (?). I'm guessing that people who confirm it as having perfect sound just aren't audiophiles and/or don't consider the slight crackling of sound to be an issue (?)
The emulator is certainly awesome, it's just when you play it over a speaker system, the crackling of sound is magnified rather nicely, and it hurts the ears.
I'm more than happy to wait it out for the next release though.
