I was wondering if you can play burned xbox1 and xbox360 games on xbox360 without a modchip, because i just tried a couple of my burned xbox1 games and the 360 read them (meaning you can see the game title on the dashboard) but didn't play them.

Bottom line is if you want to read backups you will need to modify your dvd-rom firmware. However modifications can get you banned from live.
