I had a Pioneer 111d which recently crapped out on me (I keep getting power calibration errors, half the time games don't burn, if they do half the time they don't work) so I bought a 115d from newegg. I do not see any custom firmwares for it. I know with DL media the stock firmware will usually set the book-type to DVD-ROM, but I know to do that with DVD+R single layer usually you need special firmware.

I have not seen a special firmware for the 115d anywhere. Is there one? Thanks!

Thus far no it doesn't seem that there is one. Give it a little time and one will appear. Not really sure why you would want it though since DVD-R does fine for single layer and you don't have to bother.

Thanks. I also have an NEC burner with a custom firmware on it. Are those good burners for 360 games? I know Pioneer is usually recommended.
