I bought a used xbox 360 from craigslist. The 360 didnt came with boxes. In the back the manufacturing date is listed as 2007-11-11. The drive is a hitachi drive. I thought all the 360 made recently is has HDMI. I dont want to mod the 79FL since I have bad soldering skills. Should I take my chance and see if its moddable hitcahi. If theres absolutely no possibility that the 360 has moddable drive then I will just sell it.

If it was manufactured on the date you said then it will be a Hitachi 79 drive.
BUT also if it was made on that date it will also have an HDMI. BUT< if someone did a swap then is is probably an older year + old 360 that someone swapped the guts for and it is probably a banned console.
And ALL drives can be modded.
