Ok this is more than likely a really dumb question to ask but ive brought myself a NTSC xbox 360 with kernel 4548 and i plan on running linux on it. Ive got myself a copy of king kong and ive ripped the image off and patched it. Now as the console is NTSC and the game is PAL will it still work or do i need to get a copy of NTSC king kong to run linux?

With King Kong, NTSC and PAL are interchangeable, so there is no need to get the NTSC version
