I have owned my wii for just over a year now so no warranty lol. Anyway whenever i turn it on it may last 30 secs then decides to just freeze, i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so what needs to be done to fix it.

I am having hte same problem with my first wii. I tried installing a d2pro but then bridge a connection. This casued shorting on the system. I removed the dvd drive and the system worked fine only if istayed in the menu. If i went into a channel and loaded it I would have my sistem freeze and go to black screen. Wii remote loses connectio nbut power is still to the system.

I can have a look at both of you two guys' wiis. The d2pro guy I can fix it for you. The other guy I don't know really what you have done to it. Did you try and mod it?
