That is the coolest mod I have seen! I want one, I would buy one. Find a way to be able to use it as a normal laptop as well as a xbox 360 and then you've really got something you could sell to the masses. Microsoft needs to buy this guy out so they can take his prototype, refine it, and sell it.

Best news I've seen in a while . I had heard rumors that he was doing a halo 3 laptop, but I didn't think he actually would. As usual, he did a phenomenal job. He even out did his previous laptops with the built-in camera. Absolutely amazing .

EDIT: Now that I take a closer look at the picture, is it a Halo 3 themed laptop, or a Bioshock themed laptop? Either way, beginning=awesome.

That's honestly what i was thinking as i was looking at the stunning piece of work. I think we all can say the one thing the 360 never really had too much of is case design. Without a doubt it is the ugliest of the 3 next gens.

But this is a very nice job benheck, great work once again! Really admire your attention to detail (with the case) and just the hard work that goes in.

I was just commenting on the fact I think the xbox 360 case design isn't the most attractive thing i've ever seen. I do admit that i wasn't thinking about the elite which does look a lot more 'luxurious' than the plain white case, but when i have all my console in a line stood up, you've got the big black shiny ps3 with it's bizarre curves and angles, the tiny pocket sized wii all lit up with it's blue disc slot and then the xbox 360 which looks like it was made out of the same plastic that the amiga 500 was made out of.

But I will say this i love the xbox the most, I'm only talking about disliking it in aesthetic terms

One of the sickist mods I have ever seen, period. Ben is so good at this, its really amazing.

As for the cosmetics of the 360, I love the white case. The white to me gives it that 'clean' look.

My Elite would be more attractive in my eyes had they gave it a pollished or glossy finish to add to the black case. That flat black just looks poor for a console thats supposed to be "Elite".

It looks good in pictures, but close up in real life the Elite is hidious in comparision to the white Premiums in my opinion. It doesn't show off the curves of the console well and looks rather drab. I'm thinking of clear coating mine in the very near future.

Edit: On the other hand, the black controllers are sexy as hell in comparison to the white ones that get mucked up with grime and filth from everyone using it. I really hate the white controllers...

I'll be honest, I've never liked the paintjobs on BenHeck consoles.

He's a brilliant modder, and he does some absolutely amazing things, but by the time he applies that ugly finish, all his mods look like cheap bartop quarter games. It's a pity too, because things like his solid color Wii box look absolutely beastly.

Are you retarded? As for the cooling, he did have problems with the second air-cooled one (the first one was liquid cooled), but that's why he used a falcon this time round. It's also why he has an even more active air cooling setup and there are vents everywhere on that case. If you think that you're a better modder than Ben Heck, then I'm Jesus.

It doesn't have a battery,but if he was able to get a custom made li-ion battery for 1kg you would get about 1 hour and 10 minutes,not that bad,huh?
I just don't know if the 360 would be able to handle the voltage drop that happens during discharge.

From what I've heard, it can't handle anything under 11 volts.

I can't see the GPU hitting 100°C (212°F) somehow, that would cause serious problems with the DVD drive that usually sits right on top, not to mention instability. The XCM Hot Rock Case apparently flashes red at over 47°C (118°F) so 100°C ought to be way off.
