okay so im a noob to xbox 360s but im not a noob for hacking so you dont have to treat me like an idiot. im going with the Xecuter Blaster360 since i dont have a SATA computer, but my question is what firmware should i flash???
Xbox live is a must and since the discks cost like $60 i would like to make backups and run them can someone give me a good answer and a link?

huh.gif Call me crazy bc im unsure but he could prob get a sata to usb 2.0, yeah anywere for http://www.sataadapter.com/ found them on ebay for like 9.99

sata to usb adaptors only work on the earlier hitachi models

I'd say screw the Blaster 360 and just get the VIA 6421L PCI SATA chipset.

Its very cheap and works great for flashing 360's. iXtreme 1.4 is the latest (and safest) hacked Firmware right now.

Are you making backups from your own retail disks?

If you go on Live with backups your more than likely to get banned.

Seems to me like you need to do some more research, we don't even know what your DVD drive is let alone the model.
