I've just got a new 360, falcon chipset and pre flashed with iextreme 1.4. I have a few questions as I don't want to get banned from live.

1 - If I use a backup game and get prompted to download a game update is this safe ?
2 - Will stealth patched games always be safe on live ?

I don't want o play online but would want to download game patches and updates like those for fifa 08 and madden 08. I just need to know if this is always safe and could get me banned.

I did check in the forums and on this one I checked back over a week and didn't find the answers to my questions.

I will check again but it must be easier to just answer a question than just complain I haven't looked.

1. It is thought to be perfectly safe. (remember no guarantees in this world)

2. Magic Eight Ball Says..... "Try Again Later."

Its impossible to know what countermeasures MS is working on. By the time we know its not safe.. they will have logged everyone and we will all be banned. Whats 100% safe today, might be 0% safe tomorrow.

If you dont want the risk of being banned dont mod your system.
