I Back upped cod4 and everything seemed fine it loads fast and everything seemed to work. The game will freeze at the same point. It freezes after the helicopter crashes following the nuke going off. The game plays and shows the loading bar for the next mission then freezes. If you load a saved game from after this point in the game the game plays fine all the way to the end of the game. Any ideas? Here is some info

The only other thing of note is the bitsetting was set to normal on the lite-on drive when the Cod4 disk was made it has since been changed to DVD-ROM

try burning it again with book type dvd-rom and see if that helps, may have just been a dodgy burn

Does this happen with your original disc as well?

no only the backup freezes. I will make a new backup and see if it plays correctly. i hope its not the lite-on burner. I might have to get a pioneer 112d.
