This has to be seen! Fantastic Remake! Don't know if the makers would give out the code to port it on the xbox, but that would be awesome!!

I loved DD as a kid......so I would love to see this ported, but without a sourcecode I dont think it will happen. Maybe if you approached whoever is developing it, and told them what you are wanting, they may ( or may not) like the idea of porting their re-creation to the modded xbox scene. It's worth a try.

one question though........ DD is on a couple of different emulators for xbox. What makes this one worth the hassle of porting?

these are the systen requirements for running it on a pc.......

"733 MHz Pentium III Processor or above
Windows 98 / 2000 / ME / XP (Home/Pro)
400 MB of hard disk space
128 MB of Ram
DirectX Version 9.0c
Fully DirectX compatible Graphics Card with 64 MB Memory or more and Hardware 3D Acceleration
Direct X compatible Sound Card
16x Speed CD-Rom Drive
Please note that certain features of DarkBASIC Professional (such as vertex/pixel shaders) require a suitably powerful graphics card.

Without the source it will be next to impossible to port and did you read those specs you posted the xbox can never handle that the xbox doesn't have a 64mb vid card nor does it have 128 megs of RAM even if it was dumbed down I doubt you would manage to get the vid RAM requirement low enough to leave enough RAM for the game itself , not to mention if someone could get the RAM low enough to run you wouldn't be able to use 3d hardware acceleration so I seriously doubt it could be done.

One thing to remember is that the xbox has 64 MB's of SHARED RAM

it is written in dark basic so this is a no go thing
