Full Version: Playing Burnt 360 Game

i have backed up a game on xbc and burnt the dvdfile tried it on my 360 and got unplayable disk
so i decided id try burn the game again with img burn so i did and got unplayable disk again

ok i have bought the toshiba samsung kreon drive sh-d162d and hav to use the xbc way as i click extract in schom and it tells me cant extract ss.bin after 20 secs so does anybody know another way i should try or a awsome program that can check my disk and tell me if it will work on my modded 360 game before i burn another wasted disk

You might have got the wrong media, are you using Verbatims?
If it is not the media it will most likely be your laser.
What you can do to get the drive to read the disc is tweaking the pot, tutorial here http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=p...amp;btnG=Search
If you cant get it to work with the pot calibration you will either have to buy a new laser or a new dvd-drive
However in rare cases it could also be a bad backup but as you are backing up the games yourself I dont thinks thats the problem,
