I cant get ssbb working on my pal Wii, 3.2E, with yoasm 3.0 using freeloader to avoid update. In fact I've searched many forums and I can't find anyone saying ssbb works with yoasm.
Can you help please?

I'm worried about doing the update as I don't want to damage my wii, there is a update patch for ssbb but when I applied it to the iso, it still asks to do update when I boot disc? Then I read about freeloader which is supposed to boot ssbb without the need to do the update and sure enough if I boot freeloader first then change to ssbb it doesn't ask to update but when I click on play from the game menu the screen just goes black and the wii crashes?
The freeloader appears to work for others who are using wiikey with 1.9g firmware.

The modded ISO I used required you to install the update on the pal wii but it didn't actually install the update (which is what the patch did. I then rebooted and the the game now plays.

I went and bought a HD cable as well and set the wii to 480i
