Full Version: So This Girl Shoved A Disc In My 360 The Wrong Way...help It Dont Work

so my girlfriend shoved a dvd upside down into my 360 now it has the red lights glowing and it doesnt seem to work at all...has this happened to anyone else...what should i do my warranty is up?

Stop blaming your "girlfriend" as this could not be the cause for your red lights.

I'm curious as to how you "shove" a disk into a drive that has a tray....I could understand it if the 360 had a slot loading drive, but as far as i know the only way to put in a disk is to set it in the tray huh.gif

an upside down disc will not cause 3ROD. if you had bothered to search, you would of found the cause of the 3ROD and noticed its completly unrelated to what you (or your girlfriend) did.

if the console is unmodded and has never been opened, then it has a 3 year warranty on the 3ROD, so your console will still be under warranty. otherwise, try the x-clamp replacement, just dont put the heatsinks upside down as it will make your console send encrypted messages to mars...

Check the AV cable is plugged in properly.
