loving the info window... very neat, would definitely love to see something like this, nice mockups, i like
Hi, NineT9Mustang, good seeing you around a bit again these days. Thanks for the compliments, although those are screen shots and not mockups. I'm not very good at skinning, and was unable to get what I wanted by editing a pre-existing view for some reason, so what I did was make a custom window, launchable from my emulator button on the homescreen... I'm not quite finished I still have three more emulators left to do, but now its only a matter of copy/pasting the repeated code and replace the labels and textures.

I love this view as well as the info, it's really interesting. I don't play xbox games on my xbox anymore but I use xbmc and play the emulators quite often and I think this is really cool.
Lol and its even more rare to see you post Neverwill. I know of you from your emu skinning days, though I wasn't really around back then. but thanks for the compliments, I really don't know why no one thought of making a view with emulator info...

Great update.
Why not make your mod available here? I love emu's more than the newer games. Could you do something like this for the skin Back-Row? This should be implemented into xbmc as a must? Please reconsider putting this up here, and maybe help skinners here to implement it as well. tongue.gif
Hey there man, unfortunately there really isn't much to "implement" the information isn't scrapped or anything, but that would be awesome if it could be. The information is just one big label that I typed, paraphrasing wikipedia mostly, so you the user can basically add anything you wish. As for releasing it, I hate releasing "mods" to skins because I feel like I didn't really do anything. But feel free to PM me and I can help you perhaps start your own window, since it's fairly easy... and if you use Back-row then I'm sure there are some nifty graphics in that skin that you can use to replace the ones I am using. The best way to make this available would be for someone that knows better what they are doing than me, incorporate this idea into a view so that similiar to the very common "wide icons view" different versions of it could be used with different skins... I don't have time really to look into this, though I have one more view idea involving a horizontal wrap list I'd like to try out before I call it quits.
