i became aware that me (other ppl) have an issue with xbmc which really should be tagged as major bug.
XBMC changed without being ordered to with every (!) boot the network mac address.
its always something like 00-50-F2-00-00-xx while xx is replaced e.g. by 0E or 34 and so on.
this is really ugly because many ppl using dhcp for address asignment or filtering mac addresses so not everybody may access the network. however, that macaddress has to be unique and STATIC and must not change with every boot.
i could not find anything about this in the changelog of t3ch's xbmc release.
any chance this 4 year old bug will be solved?! (first reported in 2004, came back 2008)
