Is there a way to downgrade from the latest XOS update? Since upgrading, I can't browse any of my partitions, and the copy HDD is buggy/ non-functioning., which made upgrading to my new 500gb HD a b*tch. I really miss my old pre-release XOS.
(Not too much, since I boot straight to XBMC, but still...)

use XBPartitioner for your HDD since it is 500GB.

I did. I also had to ftp everything from my old HD to my PC and then back to my PC to my new HD because the newest XOS dash won't read large HD's. For anybody else experiencing these same issues, just downgrade to XOS 2.0.1 the same way you upgraded.

The newest XOS will not read any drives.
In this case downgrade or use XboxHDM or XBPartitioner if you will have partitions larger than 256GB.
