Just wanted to make sure that this circuit will work for my HDD which is 5V before i wire them all together

The wiring looks fine, youll just have to check the value of the resistor... I would work it for you, but im far too lazy.. Its just a simple application of ohms law... You dont know the resistance, you have 5v, and you want 15-20mA running though the LEDs (Check that one, cause it depends on the LED's you have)
I do know though that if you connect the LED's to 12v a 100 ohm resistor will work fine.
