hi all i know with the wii theres a few programmes like region free which converts a ntsc iso to a pal iso or vice versa i was wondering if there were any programmes like that available for the 360 isos the reason why i ask is i picked up a few games when i was in bali but my 360 tells me it is from a different region and cant play it .any help would be great...

Im no expert but I would guess that changing the region coding would break the signature and make the iso unplayable in any box. Thats just my guess so please wait for someone who has a more educated opinion the me.

It depends on the game that you are talking about.
Most games dont only differ by the region-flag that was set in the xex they also got different files like special language files or videos in other languages
Microsoft could also find out by the SS and DMI that you only patched the region-flag, so even if it works you will most likely get banned for that.
The only way for you to change the region of a game was to patch it so that it is the exact same image of the original image of the other region.
So this would mean that someone would need the image of the game that you have and the image of the same game with the region that you want.
Then he will have to create a patch for it.
Doing this for every game is quite time intensive and I dont think anyone is going to do that
